Tucked into a living maritime forest, the Hampton Inn & Suites Jekyll Island is a hotel perfectly situated for its environment.

LNW Hospitality executed a complex acquisition of the land from the prior owner of a Holiday Inn. The team carefully razed the property and designed a hotel that blended the island architecture with brand-required amenities and hurricane-proof construction. Moreover, the team remained sensitive to the fragile dunes, tree cover, and natural habitats in the immediate area.

The 138-room, award-winning hotel, opened in 2010. Guest satisfaction of the property was exceptionally high, and operating performance significantly exceeded expectations.

In 2018, LNW Hospitality sold the property to the Peachtree Hotel Group.

Ranked among the top 500 resorts in the world by Travel & Leisure and the Best Hotel in Georgia by Southern Living, the historic Jekyll Island Club Hotel is situated on a preserved barrier island along Georgia’s coast.  Amid lush grounds, the Victorian Jekyll Island Club Hotel is the centerpiece of Jekyll Island’s celebrated Historic District. At the turn of the 20th century, tycoons, politicians, and socialites flocked to Jekyll Island to revel in America’s burgeoning wealth. Morgan, William Rockefeller, Vincent Astor, Joseph Pulitzer, William K. Vanderbilt, and other recognizable figures such as Macy, Goodyear, and Gould.

Acquired and redeveloped in 1985 by LNW Hospitality, today the resort has 157 rooms and is a owned and managed by a partnership between LNW Hospitality and the Northview Hotel Group.
