Stephen Schindel
Stephen is the Director of Development & Operations, while also serving as the company’s corporate Treasurer and Secretary. He is involved with all aspects of development, corporate, and hotel operations.
Prior to joining Retreat, he worked for LNWA’s hotel division, LNW Hospitality, and also served as an analyst at Smith Travel Research (STR), with publications on domestic markets.
Stephen holds a BS in Hospitality Industry Management from the University of Delaware, with a focus in finance and management information systems. He is a Certified Hotel Revenue Manager (CHRM) and has a Certification in Advanced Hospitality and Tourism Analytics (CAHTA). Additionally, Stephen serves as a board member on the Jekyll Island Hospitality Association.
